Edward Cunningham, D.C., C.S.C.S., Independently Affiliated Chiropractor
Dr. Edward Hayes Cunningham has two degrees, a bachelor of science in nutrition and a doctorate of chiropractic. He graduated from Life University, in Atlanta, GA in 1993. In 2013 he attained the prestigious Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the NSCA. His goal is to help all his clients exceed their health goals through functional exercise programs and evidence based chiropractic care. He believes you won’t reach your maximum health expression without a solid, advanced; smart, and well-planned exercise system which works for you. The foundation for this is a well-functioning spine. His chiropractic approach is corrective spinal care, physical modalities, core-stabilization, restorative cervical or lumbar traction, exercise rehab; and spinal decompression analysis and/or treatment for disc injuries.
In 1999 he opened a large clinic in WA State, in Kirkland, and he and his partner grew to over 500 patient visits per week in less than a year. He sold his half of this business in 2005, and relocated to CA.
Dr. Cunningham truly enjoys working with the SOBA clientele, as it is extremely gratifying for him to work with clients early in their stages of recovery, as he is going on 10 years himself. In 2013 he completed courses with the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CADAAC) which furthered his understanding of the challenges his clients face during the early stages of recovery from drug and alcohol abuse.
